Code for Adaptive Optics Systems
The CAOS software system is a set of tools designed to allow the modeling of adaptive optics, intereferometric, imaging systems (and potentially other).
CAOS consists essentially in a set of modules which can be assembled together in a simulation program.
A module is actually a single routine and the simulation program is usually built by calling the required modules within a loop.
To simplify the use of modules CAOS also includes the Application Builder, a graphic programming tool by which application programs can be assembled in a straightforward way.
