The analysis of TRACE observations of transverse oscillations in a
coronal post flare loop arcade are presented.
The oscillation parameters for nine loops are deduced as a function of
distance along the loop.
The oscillations are interpreted as standing fast magnetoacoustic kink
oscillations
and the coronal magnetic field strength is derived from the phase
speed.
Furthermore, the relationship between the oscillation decay time and
the period is explored,
compared with previous observations and is discussed in terms of
proposed mechanisms that explain the rapid decay times.
